Today, RDMG is that something — a network of 27 independent practices and 117 providers who kept their autonomy and grew stronger because of it.
RDMG began as a bold idea among a small group of like-minded colleagues— driven by a shared belief: that independent medicine matters.
In 2004, at a time when large hospital systems were rapidly consolidating care, these physicians came together to form what is now RDMG. Their mission was clear—to preserve the heart of community-based healthcare by equipping independent practices with the resources, structure, and support often only available to big networks.
What started as a grassroots effort has grown into a trusted partner for medical offices across North Carolina. While our foundation is in primary care, we proudly support a number of specialty practices as well.

The medical plan In-network provider negotiated rates and the out-of-network provider allowed amounts will be updated monthly and posted within the Anthem link. The prescription negotiated rates and historical net pricing information will be added at a later date.
